TPS FellowThe Purpose of the TPS FellowThe Taiwan Photonics Society has established regulations for the application, review, and approval of Fellows of the Society in accordance with Article 13 of the Society's bylaws. The aim is to enhance the research and innovation atmosphere in the field of photonics domestically, attract talent, and recognize the outstanding contributions of Society members in the field of photonics and optics. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 13 of the Society's organizational regulations, these regulations for the selection of Fellows of the Society are hereby formulated.The Society can have a maximum of 5% of its total membership as Fellows. Each year, the number of new Fellows chosen cannot exceed 1% of the current year's membership. The calculation for selecting new Fellows each year will also consider 1% of the sum of the current year's individual and permanent memberships, rounded to the nearest whole number.

TPS 2023 Annual Awards Winners

TPS congratulates Professor Chi-Lung Lin on being honored with the " 2023 Outstanding Engineering Professor Award" by the Chinese Institute of Engineer (CIE) !

The Purpose of the TPS Master Thesis Award is to encourage students to write excellent papers in the field of photonics.Awarding CriteriaSelect up to a maximum of five master's theses, each awarded a certificate and a prize of NT$5,000.The awards will be presented during TPS Annual General Assembly.The outstanding achievements of the awardees will be publicly announced in the TPS Optical Engineering Journal. (Awardees are obliged to publish their papers in the TPS Optical Engineering Journal) 

TPS Technology Award The Purpose of the TPS Technology Award is to honor individuals or collectives demonstrating outstanding contributions to the advancement of domestic photonics technology.Awarding CriteriaUp to three awards (which may not all be awarded) will be granted annually, presented with a commemorative medal during the annual conference. The outstanding achievements of the awardees will be publicly announced in the TPS Optical Engineering Journal.
