Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are pleased to announce FOM2025, the upcoming conference in the FOM series. FOM2025 is scheduled to take place in Taipei, Taiwan, from Sunday, April 13 to Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Please take note that this falls in the week before Easter 2025. The conference venue will be the NTUH (National Taiwan University Hospital) International Convention Centre, No.2, Xuzhou Road, Zhongzheng District 100, Taipei City, Taiwan.
The Taipei conference will commence on Sunday morning April 13 with tutorials, followed by parallel sessions, Flash poster presentations and a plenary opening session featuring invited speakers in the late afternoon. The first day will conclude with a welcome reception. A technical exhibition will be part of the FOM2025 conference.

We are offering financial support to attendees from underrepresented backgrounds for the upcoming FOM2025 conference. We are pleased to announce that we will support up to 10 candidates with the aim of fostering a diverse community of scientists and students who can actively contribute to the scientific discourse. In addition we offer a limited number of conference fee waivers to retired scientists who were active in the field of microscopy. FOM2025 continues a long-standing (since 1988), yearly conference series on the latest innovations and developments in (optical) microscopy and their application in biology, medicine, and the material sciences. FOM is committed to advancing microscopy research and meeting the needs of participants by providing opportunities for sharing work and connecting scientists with the global scientific community.
